Breaking the Barriers in Colorado’s Workforce: Opportunities for Women in STEM FILLING

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity filling up

This panel is brought to us by #FCSW17 Title Sponsor, Comcast.

According to the National Girls Collaborative Project, “Women make up half of the total U.S. college-educated workforce, but only 29% of the science and engineering workforce.” Why is this? And, what is our responsibility as entrepreneurs and business leaders in breaking down the barriers that exist and create gaps in the STEM workforce? This panel will discuss the diversity gap in the STEM workforce, and will specifically address this subject through the lens of women. Join this panel discussion of local, state and national business and community leaders in developing practical ideas for bridging the STEM workforce divide.
